Cover for Omar Noir's Mixtape: Bilingual tape 2. Omar comes from a diverse backround, having parents from Gambia and Senegal but being born in the Norwegian city of Stavanger, growing up in Bergen and spending many years living in Oslo as an adult. It is clear that Omar is a product of this diversity, rapping and singing in English, Norwegian, Wolof and French. Mixing aspects of all the cultures that formed him into the uniqueness that is his bilingual musical style. For this cover I have tried to capture a bit of all of the cultures, showcasing the west-coast of Norway with the cities of Bergen/Stavanger in the top left corner. Oslo in the top right. Banjul, Gambia in the bottom left corner and finally Dakar, Senegal in the bottom right.
